Tall oil was used as a model compound of the pitch in the pulp suspension to study the effects of calcium soaps on the pitch deposition with and without fibers.

The results showed that the forming of calcium ions was a significant factor affecting the pitch deposition, and the deposition was related to not only the amount of calcium soaps but also their dispersion, and the better the calcium soaps dispersion, the less the deposition, pH value influenced the pitch deposition significantly.
研究结果表明,Ca~(2+)的存在是造成树脂沉积的重要因素,树脂沉积的多少不但与钙皂的多少有关,而且还与其在体系中的分散程度有关,钙皂分散得越好,树脂沉积越少。
