A study on high rate hot deformation and rcerystallization process was carried out by using Formastor - Press hot simulator,with the emphasis on the effects of deformation rate and interrupting time on deformation and recrystallization process.

By optimizing the parameters of oxygen lance body and blow head,improving the operating technology of oxygen lance,increasing the intensity of supplying oxygen gas,increasing mission success rate at end-point of convertor smelting and reducing the auxiliary time,the technology of high-speed smelting was apply after all.
