高原红细胞增多症
慢性高原病的一个类型。久居高原，红细胞与血红蛋白增多是一种代偿机能。在正常代偿情况下，海拔越高，居留时间越久，其红细胞也越多。红细胞增多，则引起血液粘稠度增高，循环阻力增加，加重心脏负荷与组织缺氧，产生一系列症状。高原红细胞增多症的诊断，根据不同高度而异。一般红细胞超过700万／mm3，血红蛋白超过17g／dl红细胞压积高达80％，即应考虑。目前尚无满意治疗办法，静脉放血300～400ml,仅可使症状暂时缓解，故宜转低地治疗为宜。
