| 铁生沟冶铁遗址 中国汉代冶铁和制造铁器工场的遗址。位于河南巩义市铁生沟村。1958年发现，1959年发掘，是已知的汉代冶铁遗址中出土物最丰富的一处。年代约当西汉中晚期至东汉。 遗址中发现炼炉（高炉）、锻炉、炒钢炉、退火脱碳炉，以及烘范窑、配料池、房基、铁器、铁范、铁料、耐火材料和建筑材料等。附近有多处古铁矿坑道。研究表明，这里是一处冶炼生铁、铸铁、脱碳退火（柔化处理）、制造铁器的综合性工场，生产的基本环节是：炼铁、铸造、脱碳退火；或炼铁、铸锭、炒钢、锻造。出土的部分铁器上有“河三”铭文，推测这里应是汉代河南郡所辖的第三号制铁作坊。 |
