The lubricating characteristic problems of sector thrust bearing pad in many heavy mechanical applications were studied by numerical analysis method,and the situation characteristics of oil film,pressure of oil film,temperature distribution rule of oil film,value of power loss and lubricant mass flow of each pad were computed.
