The anionic polymerization of acrylonitrile (AN) initiated by dibutylmagnesium has been investigated using different reaction conditions and the triad tacticities of the resulting polyacrylonitrile (PAN) were analyzed by 13C-NMR spectroscopy.

In this paper,high 1,4-cis polybutadiene was synthesized with nickel catalyst system in which dibutylmagnesium(MgBu_2) partly or totally substituted triisobutylaluminium(Al(i-Bu)_3) as alkylating agent.
