Based on the case of single arm type of planet carrier, the stress and strain of planet carrier by theoretical calculation,and established a finite element model for single arm type of planet carrier were analyzed by ANSYS,compared with the feasibility of a variety of meshing generation method in allusion to this type planet carrier, its stress and strain was calculated.
