The results indicate that the two purposes could be achieved by adding some non-continuous ribs in the inner wall surface of tube partially filled with porous media:(1) disturbing the fluid flow near the boundary to enhance heat transfer,and not increasing too much flow resistance;(2) supporting(non-continuous) the porous medium insert so that it can be fixed in the radial direction of tube.
