本身不易燃烧，并能阻止或延缓燃烧的涂料。分非膨胀型和膨胀型两大类。前者受热不变，高热难燃；后者遇热会起泡形成多孔炭质层或放出不燃气体，起阻燃作用。其配方中常含氯化石蜡、氯化橡胶、硼酸、磷酸二氢铵、硫酸盐等。用于涂刷内外墙壁、板壁、船舱等。
