This paper introduced the automatic control system of the diatomite filter ,which based on the core of the ACMY-S80 PLC,according to the working principles of the diatomite filter and it s control characteristics.

In order to give a solution to the incomplete solid-liquid separation of metallic precipitate in conventional chemical precipitation and sand filtration process, a new post-treatment technology was developed for medium- and small-capacity of electroplating wastewater, in which helical-flow clarification was used in combination with diatomite pre-coat filtration process.
