During the construction of aeolian sand formation in the roadway,the improper excavation method in open channel section of inclined shaft will lead to loosening and falling of the sand,and consequently threatening the safety of construction workers and will increase engineering volumes of open channel excavation.

To protect a cutoff wall closing to excavation region during the course of excavating 3~# road on Xiluodu hydroelectric station,according to surroundings and vibration requirements,the method of reasonable hole parameters,millisecond time,stem length and single hole blasting of once each time applied in cutting excavation is adopted.
