概述
通用汽车公司根据合同规定，在莫瓦格(mowag)(8×8)皮兰哈(piranha)的基础上研制和生产了修理和抢救变型车。该车被美国海军陆战队采用，首批定货46辆，1986年交付。
结构特点
该车采用了莫瓦格皮兰哈的车体结构，但安装了美国的吊架和绞盘。hiab吊架的起吊重量为4125kg(伸出量最大时为1040kg)，可360°旋转，吊臂的工作半径为1.37～4.7m。在正常情况下吊车放在车后的支腿上，必要时可用车辆外部的遥控盒操纵吊车，当吊臂伸展时支腿撑地，车后有绞盘，拉力为133kn(13608kgf)。
