或称超导磁悬浮,是利用超导磁体之间,超导磁体与磁性物体或被感应产生的磁场之间同性磁极间磁场的相斥作用,可使相对物体因斥力超过重力而悬浮起来,称超导悬浮。利用超导悬浮可制造超导陀螺仪,无磨擦轴承,时速可达500公里的超导磁浮列车等。超导磁浮列车在日本在实验上已获成功,正在进一步改进力求能实用化。它的原理是利用安装在列车上的超导磁体和安装在U形混凝土轨道上的线圈在列车运行时,它们之间产生两个相反的强磁场而导致强的斥力使列车悬浮,从而使列车与轨道间无磨擦而加快了列车的运行。
