性质:又称排气。在模塑初期阶段,使塑料所含水分或挥发分、空气或(和)熟化时所产生的水分及其他低分子挥发物质放出的操作。在热固性树脂模塑料的压塑成型中,压塑加热初期阶段,借助于瞬时开模以使空气或其他挥发分放出的操作。在传递模塑或注射成型中,系统借助于模腔内设置的小孔,或挤塑成型中借助于挤出机料筒所设的排气段放出水分、空气及其他挥发性物质。特别是制造大型制件或厚壁制品时,如不放气,则挥发性物质就会包封在制品内,经制品从模内取出后,制品表面会出现气泡、混浊或裂纹,使制品质量低劣。
