性质:结构单元中含有金属的高分子化合物。金属可以共价键、配位键等引入高分子主链、侧基或环结构的中心。其中共价键者最广,例如聚硅氧烷、聚锗氧烷等。配位键的品种最多,例如在聚茂金属中铁、铬、锰等都可参与主链或侧基的配位。又如聚酞菁、聚卟啉中的金属处于环结构的中心。含硅高分子已得到普遍应用,含磷者次之,其他大多数均正在研究开发中。
