| 介绍: 体侧扁，前高后渐细，尾柄细长、头大而钝圆，额头突起，头部约占全身三分之一，故俗称“大头宝’。吻部宽圆，口裂大而斜，下颌比上颌长。粘液腔发达。枕骨棘棱显著，有前、后二棘，呈马鞍形，中央颏孔及内侧颏孔成四方形排列。前鳃盖骨边缘有细锯齿、背鳍棘部与鳍条部间有一凹刻，棘较细弱，尾鳍尖形。体被薄小圆鳞，鳞细小易脱落，体质软、体上部金黄色或灰褐色、下腹侧金黄色、腹部呈白色。我国出产的有棘头梅童鱼和黑鳃梅童鱼两种。前者比后者个大，一般体长9～14厘米、体重 15～50克；黑鳃梅童鱼一般体长 7.5～9. 5厘米、体重 9～20克，其鳃腔上有一深黑色斑块而棘头梅童鱼则无黑斑块、此为二者的显著区别。 |
