| 三菱重工业公司 Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd. 日本跨国公司，日本大型运输机械制造厂家。前身是1887年成立的三菱合资公司造船部，1917年，造船部改为三菱造船公司。1934年，与三菱飞机公司合并组成三菱重工业公司，即旧的三菱重工业公司。1964年，由旧三菱重工业公司分割成的新三菱重工业、三菱日本重工业和三菱造船三家公司合并，取现名。总部在东京。三菱重工业公司除大量生产船舶、机械和军火外，60年代后期积极进行海洋开发活动，成立了海洋开发委员会。80年代，公司大力发展电子、新材料等尖端技术。1984年2月，设立了机器电子开发中心、电子控制技术研修所，研究开发印刷机、工业机械、空调机器等各种机械的电子装置。由于是综合性的重工业公司，产品繁多，除造船外，主要有发动机、化学成套设备、多种机械设备、飞机、特种车辆。1993年资产为392.3亿美元，职工为6.8万人。
