为木犀科植物光叶小蜡树的树皮及叶。
【植物形态】
光叶小蜡树 落叶或半常绿灌木，高2～3米。枝条多而短，具黄色卷毛，老枝疏生圆形皮孔。叶对生；近革质；叶片卵状长圆形或长椭圆状披针形，全缘，上面光滑，深绿色，下面淡绿色，疏生圆形斑点；具短柄。圆锥花序顶生；序梗被短柔毛；花白色，具梗；萼略呈钟状；花瓣4，长椭圆形或卵形；雄蕊2；子房2室。浆果状核果，近球形，蓝黑色，基部具宿萼。花期5～7月。果期10月。 生于低山区的路边、林缘、溪边土壤较深厚处。分布四川、广西等地。
【采集】
春、秋季采树皮及叶，晒干备用。
【性味】
《四川常用中草药》："淡微苦，平。"
【功用主治】
《四川常用中草药》："清热，降火。治吐血，牙痛，口疮，咽喉痛，湿热黄水痒疮。"

内服：煎汤，3～4钱。外用：煎水洗。
