中国古代潮汐研究专集。此书刊于清乾隆四十六年(1781)。编纂者俞思谦,为浙江海宁人,字秉潚,号潜山。全书3万余字,分上、下两卷。上卷辑录有关潮汐成因的史料,计6章。下卷辑录有关河口潮汐、外国潮汐以及中国的应潮泉和应潮(动)物方面的史料,计14章。每章史料均按时代先后排列,并多处加按或注。作者编纂此书目的在于系统介绍中国古代的潮汐知识。此书保存了不少有价值的古代潮汐文献,如唐代窦叔蒙的《海涛志》,五代丘光庭的《海潮论》,北宋张君房的《潮说》。缺点是有些重要史料未辑入,如东汉王充《论衡》中有关潮汐的论述。
