郑振铎是我国现当代著名的文学家、文献学家、文学史家、艺术史家和社会活动家,作为中国现代戏曲学的开创者,在整理戏曲文献、创构戏曲历史与拓展戏曲评论方面都起过筚路蓝缕和披荆斩棘的先导作用。

中国话剧、电影演员。生于1936年11月，安徽省灵壁县人。1949年在上海考入中国福利基金会儿童剧团当演员。1954年入中央戏剧学院表演系学习，1958年毕业后参加中央实验话剧院任演员。先后在40多部话剧中创造了各种不同性格的妇女形象。表演细腻，善于刻画人物心理活动。她在《文成公主》中饰演的文成公主，在《桃花扇》中饰演的李香君，被誉为话剧舞台上的"奇花"。在《风雨故人来》一剧中，她塑造的夏之娴形象，体现了当代知识妇女的性格特征。
1980年她开始参加电影故事片的拍摄，在《如意》中饰格格金绮纹，在《城南旧事》中饰宋妈等。1983年，因饰演宋妈获第三届电影"金鸡奖"最佳女配角奖。
郑振瑶为中国戏剧家协会第五届常务理事，中国电影表演艺术学会名誉理事。1987年任中央实验话剧院院长。
