post-anesthesia care unit,PACU
是对麻醉后患者进行严密观察和监测，直至患者的生命指征恢复、稳定的单位。麻醉和手术对患者的生理影响并不因手术结束而终止。虽然大多数患者恢复过程很平稳，但有些患者仍可发生各种并发症，严重时危及生命。因此麻醉后PACU是保证术后患者安全恢复的重要单位。
