骨骺
解剖学术语。骨骺原来的命名包括骺核(二次骨化中心)和骺软骨两部分。因骺核的骨化随年龄的增长而出现并不断增大，习惯上将骺核的部分单独称为骨骺，而把软骨部分称为骺软骨。二次骨化中心开始出现时，称为骺核或化骨核，增大后称为骨骺。目前在习惯上把不规则骨、椎骨、髂骨、坐骨等二次骨化中心也称为骨骺。骨骺的影像呈现骨质的密度或信号特点。骨骺的大小及数目可直接反映进入成人前骨的生长发育情况。
