With the trade data of Mainland China and Taiwan, this paper measured the trade complementarity between Mainland and Taiwan by using TCI and TSC.

互购（counter purchase）,就是交易双方互相购买对方的产品。互购贸易涉及使用两个独立而又相互联系的合同。
双方先签定一个合同，约定由先进口国用现汇购买对方的货物，并由先出口国在此合同中承诺在一定时期内买回头货；之后，双方还再签定一个合同，具体约定由先出口国用所贷款的一部分或全部从先进口国购买商定的回头货。
