Based on a generalization of the feathers of TCM hypothesis and an analysis of the role of TCM hypothesis in the development of TCM theories,the author points out that although TCM hypothesis has played an important role in promoting the development of TCM theories,the theories and methods of modern natural sciences are more important in establishing hypotheses in modern TCM researches.
