Practical application results of model steelmaking control technology show that equipment failure was reduced greatly,liquid steel percentage hitting was improved,artificial intervention in steelmaking process was reduced,and smelting time was shortened,so that automation steelmaking was realized.

So all automatic optimizing operation of Baosteel 150 t UHP DC electric arc furnace was realized, including power supply, oxygen blowing, carbon spraying and auxiliary material charging etc, i e, all automatic steelmaking of the electric arc furnace was realized.

Taking No 3 BOF of the Third Steelmaking Plant as an example,concept,characteristics and working flow of full automatic steelmaking control technology as well as basic structure of control system and realization of basic automation level are described.
