该系统采用法国舰船建造局(dcn)设计的“席尔瓦”(sylver)垂直发射装置,该系统也可供samp/n使用。而英国及西班牙的lams计划中,紫苑-30型导弹将改用英国bae公司及阿莱尼亚公司合作研制的新型垂直发射系统。
导弹为“紫苑”(aster)15/30导弹。“紫苑”导弹是在意大利-法国未来舰空系列(fsaf)导弹系统的框架下进行开发的。
