| 东山魁夷（1908～ ） Higashiyama Kaii 日本画家。1908年7月8日生于横滨。受业于东京美术学校日本画科，1934年留学德国。历任日本画院展审查员、常务理事长、顾问等职。擅以西方的写实眼光捕捉日本风光之美。他大胆探索，用西画技巧和表现手法改进日本画，使日本画在保持平面性的同时增强了画面的空间感。他的风景画中不出现人物形象，却蕴含着深刻的人生哲理和对人生的强烈情感。代表作有 《春晓》（由日本政府赠送给毛泽东）、《京洛四季组画》、《唐招提寺壁画》等。另有文集11卷出版。
