经室内处理,分类研究,共鉴定出凋落枯枝暗色丝孢菌12属。

从我国海南(儋州热带植物园、尖峰岭自然保护区、五指山自然保护区)、云南(昆明的金殿、大理苍山、丽江、香格里拉、屏边大围山、中国科学院西双版纳热带植物园、橄榄坝、野象谷、版纳热带森林公园)两省的采集凋落枯枝标本1000余份,经室内处理,分类研究,共鉴定出凋落枯枝暗色丝孢菌14属,32种,新种18个,中国新记录属3个,中国新记录种8个,中国已报道种6个。

形态特征子实体中等大，一年生，无柄或有短粗柄，木栓质或木质。菌盖近圆形，5-9.5cm×9-10cm，厚约1.2cm，暗紫色，有细密而清晰的同心环纹和纵皱纹，表面似漆样光泽，边缘钝。菌肉近皮壳处褐色，接近菌管处深褐，厚0.3cm。菌丝无色至褐色，有分枝，直径1.5-6.9cm，壁厚，粗菌丝有的具横隔，无锁状联合，菌管褐色，长0.8cm。菌口褐色，管壁较厚，每毫米5个。菌柄只是一个位于背部近于中央处的固着基部，长0.8cm，粗约3cm。孢子狭长卵圆或椭圆形，或顶端平截，壁双层，外壁无色，平滑，内壁有不明显的小刺，淡黄褐色，9.2-12.5μm×5-7.5μm，含一油滴。
