| 茅台镇 位于中国贵州省仁怀县城西北、赤水河东岸。主要有汉、苗、仡佬、布依等民族。古代为川盐入黔的四大口岸之一。1932年设茅台镇，1950年改茅台村，1954年再设茅台镇，曾为仁怀县治。处贵州高原。属亚热带季风湿润气候。赤水河纵贯境内。矿产资源有煤、铁、石灰石、大理石等。产水稻、玉米、大豆、小麦、油菜籽、蔬菜、烟草、柑橘等。有农机、化肥、翻砂、电瓷、酿酒、印染、缝纫等工业。茅台酒历史悠久，驰名中外。是黔北重要手工业和农贸集镇，扼水陆要冲。1935 年3月中国工农红军四渡赤水第三渡从此过河。建有红军烈士陵园，红军渡河纪念碑。 |
