| 球腹蛛科 Theridiidae；cobwebweaver 蜘蛛目的一科。又称姬蛛。全球已知1500种。体中、小型，因腹部多呈球形而得名(见图）。其主要特点为第4步足跗节下方有由一列带锯齿的毛组成的毛梳，结不规则的乱网，能由毛梳梳丝捆缚捕获物。视力弱。中国最常见的是温室希蛛，在室内、草丛和农田中均有。八斑球腹蛛在长江流域的农田中常见，发生量大，为叶蝉、飞虱等害虫的天敌。其中毒寇蛛(黑寡妇)为有名的毒蛛。
