| 软锰矿 pyrolusite 锰的氧化物矿物。成分为MnO2。含锰63.2％，是炼锰的重要矿物原料。四方晶系，晶体呈细柱状或针状。集合体常呈块状、肾状或土状，还有的呈树枝状见于岩石裂隙面上 。铁黑色，光泽和硬度视其结晶粗细和形态而异；结晶好的呈半金属光泽，硬度较高；而隐晶质块体和粉末状者，光泽暗淡，硬度低，极易污手 。比重5左右 。是沉积锰矿床的主要成分，在强氧化条件下形成。在中国，广西、湖南、辽宁 、四川等地的锰矿床中有大量产出。 |
