On the basis of identifying almost all of the fossil vertebrates in Shanghai during the Neolithic Age, the writer of this paper compared in detail the contemporaneous faunae from Zhejiang, Jiangsu and Sandong, restored the natural landscape at that time and discussed a whole series of relevant academic problems.
