   哲学术语。在西方哲学中,指关于存在及其本质和规律的学说。“本体”一词源于拉丁文on(存在、有、是)和ontos(存在物)。17 世纪德国经院学者第一次使用本体论一词,并将它解释为形而上学的同义语。在中国古代哲学中,本体论称为本根论,指探究天地万物产生、存在、发展变化根本原因和根本依据的学说。
