| 火花室 spark chamber 利用气体火花放电原理制成的带电粒子径迹探测器。1959年由日本人福井崇时和宫本重德发明。在充有标准气压左右的惰性气体加适量其他气体的容器里放置两组互相交替的电极，一组接脉冲高压，一组接地。当带电粒子射入容器，电触发线路给出的符合信号把高压脉冲加到电极间，气体被带电粒子电离，电子雪崩式倍增形成导电通道，继而发展成火花击穿，组成粒子径迹，再用照相法录下火花。火花室兼备径迹探测器和闪烁计数器两者的优点，结构简单，使用安排灵活，空间分辨率为0.3～2毫米，分辨时间约1微秒。 |
