Describing such common points as widely demanded education characteristics and social requirement for a wealth of talents among technical colleges, this paper expounds that an academic library should coordinate with advancing vocational education development , and make itself adaptable in aspects of management, technology and operation.
本文通过对现代高职教育先进教学特点和社会人才需求的共性描述,阐述了学院图书馆应该配合高职教育的发展,在管理层面、技术层面、业务流程等方面作出相应的调整,并提出学院图书馆在素质教育中应具有一定的地位。

中国计量学院图书馆始建于1981年，其前身为校图书室。 馆藏文献85万(含电子图书
），年增文献5.8万，周开放98小时，全开架。藏书在工科基础上突出计量、标准化、质
量检验、质量管理以及质量技术监督等特色。
图书馆实行主管院长领导下的馆长负责制，设有党政办公室、采编室、期刊室、流通室
、参考咨询室等五个业务部门。
1994年图书馆计算机管理系统投入作用后，目前95%以上的馆藏文献实行开架借阅。周开
馆时间达94.5小时。年新增馆藏文献1.2万册，采用《中图法》。年编印《高等教育改革
动态》四期，还为高年级学生开设科技文献检索课。
图书馆重视开展图书情报学术研究，自1989年起每年举办学术论文交流会。
本馆为浙江省图书馆学会理事馆、全国技术监督情报网的成员单位。
